The National Autonomous University of Honduras through the Care Programme Socio Economic and Educational Incentives offers the opportunity to finance your college education through a scholarship or an educational loan. 

 

Scholarships for Academic Excellence 

 

Are awarded in 2 categories: 

• Category "A" 

• Category "B" 

• Category "A" 

 

Category "A" 

 

It is a monthly allowance nonrefundable granted during the academic year freshmen whose academic average of Secondary Education is equal to or greater than 90% and an 90% to a minimum of 10 subjects passed in the previous academic year application for readmission. Its amount is Lps 2000.00 monthly. 

 

 

Category "B"

 

It is a monthly allowance nonrefundable granted during the academic year to college students reentry whose academic index equal to or greater than 80% of a minimum of 10 subjects passed in the previous academic year before the application or you plan required. Its amount is Lps 1680.00 monthly. 

 

 

Equity Scholarships. 

 

They are for low-income students and academic excellence, neglected areas. The amount covers the basics to pursue his career in UNAH. 

 

 

Grants to Support the Sport. 

 

It consists of a monthly allowance nonrefundable college students involved in representing the UNAH in various sports is granted. Amount of Lps 1800.00 monthly. 

 

 

Grants to Support the Arts.

 

Monthly allowance nonrefundable grants to college students during the academic year in addition to his college career involved representing UNAH arts groups in dance, theater and choir. Amount of Lps 1840.00 monthly. 

 

 

Scholarships for the Promotion of Scientific Research. 

 

Monthly allowance nonrefundable Lps 2000.00 during the duration of the research (not to exceed one year) students in addition to pursue his college career, participating in the implementation of research projects undertaken by different units or academic directions it is given . The student will also present the general requirements must certify the successful completion of 25 courses in its curriculum with a higher grade point average at 75%. Requirements for Academic Excellence Scholarships and Educational Loans. 

 

• Item Original Birth. 

• Photocopy of Identity Card. 

• Proof of income of the parents or the person who is financially dependent, issued by the institution where he works. 

• Certification of Studies (first income students) Academic History (reentry students). 

• Form 003 of this period with an academic load of at least 4 subjects. 

• One passport-size photo. 

• Evidence of Conduct. 

• Approve psychotherapy evaluation (for students who have had less than 16 subjects).

• Medical record issued by the medical office UNAH.

Long-Term Educational Loans. 

It is a credit facility granted to the student to cover expenses. Lps allowance of 1840.00. 

 

Loan Requirements. 

• Students Join First, the GPA will be diversified level of 80% minimum. Submit certification study. 

• Reentry students. GPA required 70% minimum. Present academic record. 

• Submit proof of employment two sureties receive a minimum monthly income of 6000.00 Lps.
